JENIN, Saturday, April 06, 2019 (WAFA) – A 17-year-old Palestinian youth was injured in the head today when hit by a rubber-coated metal bullet fired by Israeli soldiers in a village in the north of the West Bank, local sources told WAFA.
They said Palestinians threw stones at Israeli soldiers who raided Muthalath al-Shuhada village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
The soldiers responded by firing rubber bullets and teargas canisters, causing many to suffocate from the gas while one person was hit by a rubber bullet in the head. He was taken to hospital in Jenin for treatment.
No reason was given for the Israeli army raid of the village.
