JERUSALEM, September 27, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces today barred Muslim mourners from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem to perform a funeral prayer, amid heightened restrictions at the mosque's gates during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.
The Jerusalem Governorate said Israeli forces allowed only four people to enter the mosque to perform the funeral prayer before ordering them to leave.
