JENIN, September 27, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces early today detained a female pharmacist, Umaima Numan Abed, during a raid on the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin.

Local sources told WAFA that the forces raided several homes in the town and searched them before detaining Abed after raiding her family’s home and ransacking its contents.

The detention came as Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids, searches, and field interrogations across several villages and towns in the Jenin governorate.

In Qabatiya, the forces conducted extensive searches of homes and field interrogations and briefly detained several young men before withdrawing from the town.
