ANKARA, September 27, 2026 (WAFA) – The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist colonists under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
In a statement, the ministry said that the Netanyahu government is seeking to further escalate tensions in the region and undermine efforts to achieve peace and stability through its violations and provocations targeting Muslim holy sites.
The ministry renewed its call on the international community to take deterrent measures against Israeli practices that violate the historical and legal status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
