TUNIS, October 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Tunisia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad condemned the continued aggression by Israeli occupation forces against the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, most recently the heinous campaigns of detentions and raids, describing them as a new step in the war of genocide waged by the occupation against the Palestinian people.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry condemned the escalation of military and colonization operations, alongside the accompanying brutal crimes. It noted that the aggression has expanded from the Gaza Strip to encompass the entire occupied Palestinian Territory, describing these actions as desperate attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their land and liquidate their just cause.
Tunisia called on the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities and take immediate action to compel Israeli occupation forces to halt their military operations and put an end to crimes against the Palestinian people and humanity as a whole.
Tunisia reiterated its unconditional support for the Palestinian people in their struggle to reclaim their legitimate, inalienable and imprescriptible rights.
It reiterated its steadfast support for the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent, sovereign state throughout Palestine, with Jerusalem as its capital.
