NABLUS, October 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday attacked olive harvesters in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, according to local sources.
They said that colonists assaulted olive pickers in the al-Hara'iq area, forced them to leave, and seized their olive-harvesting equipment.
Meanwhile, armed colonists damaged olive trees in the southwestern part of Burqa village, east of Ramallah, and attempted to assault residents while they were harvesting olives in the area.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
