JENIN, October 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists in the early hours of Friday stole equipment and vandalized Palestinian property in the town of Jaba', south of Jenin, according to the mayor.
Mohammad al-Baddad told WAFA that colonists arrived in a vehicle at the eastern part of the town. They broke into a vehicle repair workshop, stole equipment, and smashed the windows of three vehicles and deflated their tires.
They also stole a vehicle radio, equipment, and two sheep from the vicinity of the villagers’ homes.
Al-Baddad added that Jaba' has recently been subjected to an unprecedented wave of colonist attacks targeting its land and residents’ property.
Meanwhile, colonists on Friday morning vandalized the contents of a Palestinian home in the al-Masudiya area, northwest of Nablus, as confirmed by local sources.
They said that settlers broke into the home, smashing its contents and causing extensive damage. They also cut off the electricity supply cables.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
