TULKARM, September 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces this evening set up a flying military checkpoint on the main road in the al-Kafriyat area, opposite the entrance to the village of al-Ras, south of Tulkarm, local sources said.
Sources said that Israeli soldiers stopped passing Palestinian-registered vehicles, searched them, ordered a number of passengers to get out, and checked their identification cards, while tightening restrictions on vehicles heading toward Tulkarm city.
The sources added that Israeli occupation forces fired illuminating flares into the sky, with no detentions reported.
