TUBAS, September 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a tractor and its driver on Sunday in the Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas.

Abdullah Bisharat, head of the Atouf and Ras al-Ahmar village council, reported that the occupation forces seized a tractor belonging to the council and detained its driver, Uday Bisharat, while he was delivering livestock feed to the area.

For approximately two weeks, the occupation forces have been besieging and isolating the Ras al-Ahmar area by digging a trench and closing access points, hindering the movement of residents and their access to their lands and properties. This comes amidst ongoing attacks and occupation measures against the area's inhabitants.

For months, the area has been subjected to extensive bulldozing operations by the occupation forces to construct a military road through its lands. These operations have included the demolition of artesian wells and greenhouses, and the destruction of irrigation networks and water pipelines.
