GAZA, May 31, 2026 (WAFA) – Several citizens were injured on Sunday evening in Israeli attacks targeting different areas across the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli fighter jets opened fire toward the northern areas of the Gaza Strip, causing panic among residents and damaging surrounding areas.
Sources added that a quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians at a junction in the Zeitoun neighborhood east of Gaza City, resulting in several injuries.
Israeli artillery also shelled areas near Al-Hattabiya Street in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, amid intensive flights of warplanes and drones over the area.
These attacks come as part of the ongoing escalation carried out by Israeli occupation forces across the Strip, which results almost daily in Palestinians killed, injuries, and widespread destruction of property and infrastructure.
