JENIN, October 26, 2026 (WAFA) – In the early hours of Monday, Israeli occupation forces razed asphalt speed bumps installed on the road connecting Jenin and Nablus. The action affected the stretch starting from the Jaba‘ junction in the south and continuing through the towns of ‘Ajja, ‘Anza, and al-Zawiya.
Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces removed the speed bumps—which had been installed by local municipalities at the entrances to these towns—that were intended to curb vehicle speeds and reduce the number of fatal traffic accidents the area has witnessed in recent years.
