JENIN, October 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed iron gates today, Sunday, at the entrances to several towns and villages located along the bypass road east of Jenin, as well as in towns south of the governorate, hindering the movement of Palestinian residents.
Local sources reported to WAFA that the occupation forces shut the iron gates installed at the entrances to the towns of Ya'bad, Arraba, Kafrit, and Marka, as part of their ongoing measures to restrict the movement of the population.
The sources added that the closure of these gates obstructs the movement of residents and limits their ability to reach their towns, villages, and the lands surrounding the bypass road, forcing them to take rough, unpaved dirt tracks instead.
In recent times, the occupation forces have installed 26 iron gates at the entrances to various villages and towns across the Jenin Governorate, as part of the restrictions imposed on the movement of the Palestinian people.
