Colonists establish two new outposts, steal 12 sheep south of Hebron

HEBRON, October 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists began establishing two new colonial outposts on Palestinian-owned land in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, on Sunday, while another group stole 12 sheep in the same area.

Activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA that colonists began setting up an outpost in the Khallet al-Fara area, west of Yatta, where they pitched a tent, brought in bulldozers and excavation machinery, and started leveling and digging the land in preparation for construction.

He added that colonists established another outpost in the Yatta desert area, on Palestinian-owned land between the villages of al-Zuweidin and Umm Qussa. They pitched several tents and began installing infrastructure, including water and electricity networks.

In a related incident, colonists from the Susiya colony infiltrated the home of Palestinian citizen Jawdat Ahmad al-Masri in the al-Rahniya area, south of Yatta, late Saturday night and stole 12 sheep.
