HEBRON, October 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Sunday night prevented Palestinian residents from entering or leaving Hebron after holding them for hours south of the city, tightening military measures and closing entrances to the city, its towns and refugee camps, local sources reported.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces continued to close the Qalqas access road, a key route for thousands of residents in southern Hebron, preventing them from crossing on foot for hours and exacerbating their suffering, particularly for patients.
The occupation forces also prevented residents from crossing closed gates at the entrances to Hebron, its towns and refugee camps.
The closures were concentrated at the entrances to Hebron and the towns of Idhna, Bani Na'im and Halhul, as well as the al-Fawwar and al-Arroub refugee camps. Israeli forces assaulted residents, smashed their vehicles, and used the vehicles to block roads and intersections.
