RAMALLAH, October 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening razed land and uprooted olive trees in the village of Deir Qaddis, west of Ramallah, WAFA correspondent reported.
WAFA correspondent said that Israeli forces razed vast areas of land and uprooted dozens of olive trees in the al-Maghayir area, northeast of the village, to make way for a colonial road.
Israeli forces also blocked agricultural roads leading to the area with rocks, obstructing farmers' access to their land. The correspondent noted that the razed area accounts for most of the village's olive production.
Israeli occupation forces have also continued razing land between Deir Qaddis and the neighboring village of Kharbatha Bani Harith, in preparation for the establishment of a colony in the area.
