HEBRON, October 26, 2026 (WAFA) –Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished commercial stores under construction in the town of Bani Naim, east of Hebron, and detained two brothers from the town of Al-Dhaheriya, south of the governorate.
WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed the Khallet Al-Warda area at the entrance to the town of Bani Naim, and bulldozed the shops belonging to the Abu Sharkh family, under the pretext of building in Area C.
In a related context, local sources reported to “Wafa” that colonists, protected by the occupation forces, attacked the two brothers, Diya and Alaa Abu Sharkh, while they were herding sheep in the “Maala Al-Deir” area in the town of Al-Dhaheriya, before the occupation forces detained them and took them to the “Khavat Yehuda” settlement, which is established on citizens’ lands near the area.
These attacks come in light of the continued occupation aggression against areas in the city of Hebron since last Friday, which resulted in 488 families being harmed and about 3,171 citizens forced to forcibly leave their homes, especially in the areas of Deir Baha and Al-Jalda, according to Hebron Municipality data.
