HEBRON, May 31, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday issued demolition orders targeting three homes under construction and a major water pipeline serving agricultural land in the village of Beit Al-Roush Al-Tahta, west of Hebron.

Head of the village council, Riyad Amr, said Israeli forces delivered notices ordering the suspension of construction and demolition of three homes currently being built, in addition to the removal of a water pipeline stretching approximately four kilometers.

The pipeline supplies water from the Beit Al-Roush reservoir and is used to irrigate around 500 dunums of agricultural land in the area.

Amr condemned the Israeli measures, saying they are aimed at forcing residents from their land and undermining the agricultural sector, which remains a vital source of income for local farmers amid the ongoing restrictions imposed on Palestinians.
