JERUSALEM, Monday, January 20, 2019 (WAFA) – An Israeli court yesterday approved of eviction of a Palestinian family from its home in the Silwan neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem, in favor of an illegal Israeli settler organization, according to Wadi Hilweh Information Center.
It said in a statement that an Israeli court ruled against a petition by Nasser Rajabi to overrule a previous court decision issued in 2016 ordering him to turn over his three-story building to Ateret Cohanim settlement organization. A total of 16 people live in the three-apartment building.
The court ruling may also affect a plot of land where 35 residential buildings were constructed and most apartments legally sold to their current inhabitants.
