JERUSALEM, Monday, November 7, 2022 (WAFA) – The Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem demolished today a Palestinian-owned building in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Beit Hanina, the second such demolition by the municipality in occupied Jerusalem, and the fourth by Israel in the occupied territories under the pretext of construction without a permit.

WAFA correspondent said staff from the Israeli municipality accompanied by police and a bulldozer broke into Beit Hanina neighborhood in the north of Jerusalem and proceeded to tear down the house owned by a local Palestinian family that was still in the construction stage.

Earlier today, municipality staff demolished a bakery outside Shufat refugee camp, northeast of Jerusalem.

At the same time, the Israeli military government demolished a two-story building in the Ramallah area village of Qibya and another house east of Jericho, in the occupied West Bank.
