GAZA, September 6, 2026 (WAFA) — Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said today that the death toll from Israel's ongoing aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,651, while the number of injured has reached 174,592 since October 7, 2023.

Hospitals across Gaza reported that they received 17 injured Palestinians over the past 24 hours.

They added that the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,344, while 4,481 others have been injured. A total of 826 bodies have also been recovered.

Meantime, a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads, as ambulance and rescue crews continue to face difficulties reaching them, according to the sources.
