JENIN, September 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continued bulldozing and uprooting olive trees on both sides of the Jenin-Nablus road, near the village of Wadi Daouq, south of Jenin, on Sunday.

The head of the Wadi Daouq village council, Abdul Nasser Al-Huwaiti, told WAFA that the bulldozing began at the Arraba roundabout and extended towards the village entrance, encompassing lands on both sides of the road. He noted that the occupation forces bulldozed parts of the land and uprooted trees along a stretch of more than 50 meters from the main road.

He explained that the bulldozing has so far affected an area estimated at approximately 27 dunams, pointing out that the occupation is targeting agricultural lands adjacent to the road.

Al-Huwaiti pointed out that this attack comes as the olive harvest season approaches, a primary source of income for many residents. He emphasized that the targeted olive trees are mature and fruit-bearing.

Over the past week, the Israeli occupation forces have been bulldozing and uprooting hundreds of olive trees along the road connecting the towns of Arraba and Ya'bad.

On August 6th, the Israeli occupation authorities issued six military orders to remove trees and vegetation from a total area of ​​310,868 dunams in the towns and villages of Ya'bad, Arraba, Anza, and Ajja, in the Jenin Governorate. They also issued a military order to seize 3,536 dunams of land in the town of Marqa.

The military orders targeted land in Arraba along the Arraba-Ya'bad and Jenin-Nablus roads, land at the main entrance to Ya'bad, and land in Anza and Ajja.

These orders come amid escalating attacks by the occupation on agricultural lands in Jenin Governorate, accompanied by bulldozing and uprooting of trees, causing losses to farmers and threatening their livelihoods.
