TULKARM, September 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarm, and Zita, north of the city, early Monday morning, raiding several homes and vandalizing their contents.

Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces entered Kafr al-Labad with a number of military vehicles and deployed throughout its streets and neighborhoods before breaking into several homes and shops, searching them, and damaging their contents.

As the raid continued into the morning, the start of classes at all schools in the town was delayed by one hour, with classes beginning at 9:00 AM.

Meanwhile, occupation forces also stormed the town of Zita, raiding and searching several homes, though no arrests were reported.

The occupation forces continue their daily raids on the towns and villages of the Tulkarm Governorate, amidst raids on homes and shops, obstruction of the movement of citizens and arrests, which come as the occupation’s aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, “Tulkarm and Nur Shams”, continues for the 589th consecutive day.
