NABLUS, September 6, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation authorities today issued stop-work orders against a number of Palestinian facilities and parcels of land in Nablus.

Palestinian security sources told WAFA that several Israeli military vehicles raided al-Maajeen neighborhood of the city, where soldiers posted stop-work notices on a kindergarten owned by Palestinian citizen Tareq al-Majdalawi, the Aydi al-Mustaqbal Association, and several parcels of land, claiming they are located in an area classified as Area C.

Israeli authorities have previously targeted Palestinian structures with stop-work and construction orders in Area C, where Palestinians face significant restrictions on obtaining Israeli-issued building permits.

The Aydi al-Mustaqbal Association has been forced by the occupation authorities to close since June 18.
