HAIFA, Saturday, October 15, 2022 (WAFA) – Palestinians held two vigils this evening in the cities of Haifa and Taibe, in the 1948-occupied land, in protest of the recent Israeli escalation of violence against the Palestinian people, especially in Jenin, Nablus and Jerusalem.

The protesters waved Palestinian flags and shouted slogans decrying the Israeli occupation and its ongoing crimes in Palestine, the latest of which were the killing of two Palestinians in a raid on Jenin on Friday morning and the recent siege of Shufat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem.

They also waved banners that read in Arabic and Hebrew, "Hands off Shufat Camp," "Fascism will not pass," "Our people's will for freedom will triumph," and "Yes to just peace, no to occupation."
