WARSAW, September 6, 2016 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas expressed on Tuesday his commitment to peace as the only path towards a lasting solution, saying it serves both the interests of Palestine and Israeli alike.
During a joint press conference with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda in the Polish capital of Warsaw, Abbas underscored the need for a nonviolent political solution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, based on a two-state solution and on the lands occupied by Israel in 1967.
Abbas and Duda also discussed mutual issues and ways to enhance cooperation between Palestine and Poland.
