PARIS, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Noël Barrot, announced on Wednesday that he would summon the Israeli ambassador following an incident in which Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a diplomatic delegation in Jenin.
In a post on X, Barrot described the incident as "unacceptable" and said that the Israeli ambassador would be required to offer an explanation.
