BETHLEHEM, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists attacked a Palestinian home in the Khalayel Al-Loz area east of Bethlehem on Wednesday evening, forcing its residents to leave at gunpoint, according to security sources.
Sources said that a group of colonists stormed a house in the said area and forced the family to leave at gunpoint.
Colonists and Israeli forces have escalated their attacks on the Khalayel Al-Loz area, targeting homes, opening fire, and uprooting land.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, colonists erected a tent on Palestinian residents’ land in the eastern part of the archaeological site of Tell Ma’in near Yatta, raising fears among local residents that the colonists intend to seize the area and establish a new settlement outpost.
Furthermore, colonists stole agricultural crops, including wheat and barley, from a local Palestinian farmer’s land and transported them to one of the colonial outposts, illegally established on Palestinian land in the village of Ma'in in the Hebron Governorate.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.
The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned.
Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
