RAMALLAH, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – The Arab American University (AAUP) has earned the prestigious Accreditation and Quality Assurance Certificate for the Doctor of Medicine Program from the Jordanian Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI), certified by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), the Acting University President Bara Asfour announced on Wednesday.
Asfour declared that the Arab American University has secured international accreditation for the Faculty of Human Medicine from the WFME for four years, becoming the first Palestinian university to earn such accreditation for the full period.
He added that the University would seek international accreditations for all its faculties, while noting that the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Engineering have already obtained international accreditation.
