HEBRON, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces blew up the home of slain Palestinian youth Abdul Qader al-Qawasmi in the city of Hebron on Wednesday.
Security sources said that large forces from the occupation army stormed several neighborhoods in the city and took up positions in the traffic circle area before blowing up the home of martyr Abdul Qader al-Qawasmi for the second time.
The sources indicated that the occupation forces detained a number of families, prevented access to the area, and set up a military checkpoint at the northern entrance to Hebron.
It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities demolished the home of the martyr Al-Qawasmi for the first time on January 21, 2024, and he was martyred on November 16, 2023.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the occupation authorities carried out 73 demolitions last April, affecting 152 structures, including 96 inhabited homes, 10 uninhabited ones, and 34 agricultural and other structures.
These demolitions were concentrated in the Tubas Governorate with 59 structures, the Hebron Governorate with 39 structures, the Jerusalem Governorate with 17 structures, and Jerusalem.
