JENIN, August 31, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces today detained a young man from the town of Qabatiya and tightened their military measures in Jenin governorate.
Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces detained Mohammed al-Tairji Kmeil from Qabatiya while he was passing through a military checkpoint set up near the entrance to the village of Arrana, northeast of Jenin.
The sources added that Israeli occupation forces closed the main road stretching from al-Bustan Roundabout to the entrance of the village of Aaba to Palestinian traffic.
