JERUSALEM, August 31, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces this morning raided the Qalandia Institute for Vocational Education for Refugees in Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate said in a statement that Israeli occupation forces raided the institute and deployed throughout its corridors.

Israeli occupation forces had raided the institute, which is affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), last Tuesday and raised the Israeli flag over its building, in the presence of far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

The raid drew Palestinian and international condemnation and was considered a violation of international law and an infringement on the immunities and privileges of the United Nations and its agencies.
