BETHLEHEM, August 31, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists today released their sheep to graze on Palestinian-owned land in the village of al-Minya, south of Bethlehem.

Head of the al-Minya Village Council Ahmad Kawazbeh told WAFA that colonists released their sheep to graze on land belonging to Palestinian resident Yasser Arameen in the Jomleh area.

The village of al-Minya has been subjected to repeated colonists' attacks, including attacks on residents' homes, damage to irrigation networks, theft of property, and grazing sheep on cultivated lands, causing damage to trees and crops.

The Khalayel al-Louz area has also been subjected to repeated colonists' attacks, including vandalism and damage to Palestinian property, irrigation networks and crops.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli occupation forces and colonists carried out 2,256 attacks against Palestinians, their lands and property during July.
