JENIN, August 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces tonight raided the city of Jenin, the town of Kafr al-Labad east of Tulkarm, and the village of Deir Qaddis west of Ramallah. Soldiers deployed across residential neighborhoods, stopping and searching Palestinian residents and vehicles.

In Jenin, Israeli occupation forces raided the city center and took up positions at the main roundabout, while infantry units deployed throughout the industrial area.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces deployed near Al-Hethnawi Restaurant, where they stopped residents and spread panic in the area.

Meanwhile, two Israeli Eitan armored vehicles raided the towns of Ajja, Al-Fandaqumiya, and Jaba, south of Jenin, conducting provocative actions against local residents.

In Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarm, Israeli soldiers stopped and searched several vehicles, checking the identification cards of passengers and questioning them. No detentions were reported.

In Deir Qaddis, west of Ramallah, Israeli forces stormed the village and deployed throughout several neighborhoods. No home raids or detentions were reported.

Deir Qaddis has been facing escalating Israeli attacks, including land leveling and the construction of colonization roads in its vicinity.

Israeli occupation forces carry out raids on an almost daily basis across the occupied West Bank, deploying troops and military vehicles in Palestinian towns and villages. These operations involve a range of actions, including raiding homes, assaulting residents, stopping civilians and vehicles, conducting searches, and carrying out detentions.

Such raids have intensified alongside growing Israeli military operations and colonists’ attacks across the occupied West Bank.

During such raids, Israeli forces often fire live ammunition and tear gas at residents, triggering confrontations that frequently result in injuries and, in some cases, the killing of Palestinians.
