JORDAN VALLEY, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces assaulted a citizen on Wednesday near the Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley.
Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh reported that the occupation forces assaulted Qusay Abu al-Kabbash as he passed near the checkpoint and detained him.
The checkpoint has been subject to increased military presence and repeated closures for the past two years, restricting the movement of citizens attempting to access the Jordan Valley in general.
