ISLAMABAD, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Pakistan has warned against the Israeli occupation's expansion of its ground operations in the Gaza Strip and its declaration of control over the besieged enclave, threatening international efforts to achieve stability and peace in the region.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan stressed that the recent actions by the occupation constitute a flagrant violation of international law, reiterating Pakistan's call for an end to Israel's genocidal campaign against the Palestinians.
The statement also reiterated Pakistan's categorical rejection of any attempts to displace Palestinians from their homeland, expand illegal Israeli settlements, or annex any part of the occupied Palestinian territories.
