RAMALLAH, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Hussein al-Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), received Father Ibrahim Faltas, Vicar of the Custody of the Holy Land, and his accompanying delegation at his office in Ramallah.
The two sides exchanged views on recent political developments at the local and international levels.
Al-Sheikh emphasized the Palestinian leadership's commitment to preserving and developing the civilizational, historical, and cultural components of the Palestinian people.
He noted that these elements together form a mosaic that complements and intersects with the Palestinian national identity, reflecting the resilience of the Palestinian social, religious, and national fabric throughout history.
