JENIN, RAMALLAH, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp for the 121st consecutive day, expanding their bulldozing and destruction operations inside the camp with the aim of altering its features and structure, while continuing to prevent entry or access to it.

This Wednesday morning, Israeli occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin after special forces surrounded a café and the home of Ghassan al-Saadi, the café's owner.

The occupation forces deployed their vehicles at the entrances to the neighborhood and near a gas station, preventing the movement of citizens and their vehicles. They arrested Ghassan al-Saadi and Iyad al-Azmi from inside the café after raiding and searching it.

At dawn on Wednesday, a young man was shot in the abdomen by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin. The occupation forces razed the town's infrastructure, including water and electricity networks, deployed soldiers on rooftops, raided several buildings, and converted them into military barracks. They also launched an arrest campaign in the town. Occupation bulldozers also destroyed civilian vehicles on the main road connecting Qabatiya to the city of Jenin.

Yesterday, occupation forces raided the town of Meithalun, southeast of Jenin, and set up a checkpoint on the main street at the town's entrance, obstructing the movement of civilian vehicles and searching them.

Additionally, the Israeli occupation forces yesterday also forced a family to evacuate their home near Jenin refugee camp.

It is estimated that the occupation forces have paved approximately 15 roads within Jenin camp, which is less than half a square kilometer in area. According to the Jenin Municipality, the camp's infrastructure has been completely destroyed, along with 60% of the city's infrastructure. 120 kilometers of roads, 42 kilometers of water pipelines, and 99 kilometers of sewage lines have been destroyed.

Occupation forces continue to fire live ammunition intensively inside Jenin camp, which is completely empty of residents. Yesterday, occupation forces were present at the entrance to the camp, known as the Horse Roundabout.

The few images emerging from Jenin camp show unprecedented destruction of homes, citizens' property, and infrastructure. The occupation forces are intensifying their military reinforcements to Jenin camp and its surroundings, and are deploying infantry units nearby.

Yesterday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Umm al-Tut and Khirbet Talfit, east of Jenin, deploying infantry units and raiding several homes there.

Villages in Jenin Governorate are witnessing almost daily incursions as the aggression against the city and camp continues. Daily military movements are recorded in most villages in the governorate, along with a constant presence of occupation patrols and vehicles.

The occupation forces also continue their complete closure of Jenin Camp, preventing access to it, amid ongoing bulldozing and destruction operations within it aimed at altering its structure and features. According to Jenin Municipality estimates, approximately 600 homes have been completely demolished in the camp, while the rest have been partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable. The occupation continues to fire live ammunition intensively in the camp.

The occupation forces have also caused significant damage to facilities, homes, and infrastructure in Jenin City, especially in the eastern and al-Hadaf neighborhoods.
