Abbas meets Polish counterpart in Warsaw

WARSAW, September 6, 2016 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas met on Tuesday with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, in the presidential headquarters in Warsaw.

The two leaders discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian issue, including Israel’s ongoing settlement construction and expansion in the occupied Palestinian territories.

They also discussed bilateral relations, in addition to current international efforts aimed at holding an international conference to revive peace talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis.

Abbas arrived in Warsaw on Monday evening on an official three-day visit.
