RAMALLAH, September 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Eight people were killed and 12 seriously injured in 953 road accidents in the West Bank in August, a statement by the police said on Thursday.
The number of fatalities was lower than the July report where 17 people were killed and 16 seriously injured in 1036 road accidents in the West Bank.
A total of 756 were injured in the August road accidents, 12 were serious, 70 moderate and 674 light.
In the July report, the police said 927 people were injured, 16 serious, 78 moderate and 833 light.
