RAMALLAH, September 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah Thursday held a meeting with security heads in the West Bank to discuss the latest developments in the various districts, according to statement issued by the prime minister’s office.
It said that Hamdallah reviewed the latest reports from the fields on the security situation in all the districts, particularly with ongoing efforts by the security agencies to enforce law and order on the ground.
Hamdallah restressed the continuation of the security work in all the governorates to protect the people and their property against chaos and lawlessness.
He said the security agencies will not hesitate to enforce law and order or to pursue outlaws regardless of the challenges.
The meeting came in the aftermath of the violence in the West Bank city of Nablus in the last few weeks that resulted in the death of five people, including two security officers shot dead by gunmen and the arrest of several armed men involved in the attack.
