RAMALLAH, June 11, 2026 (WAFA) – The Revolutionary Council of the Fatah movement on Thursday evening elected its secretary, two deputy secretaries, and the heads of several internal oversight bodies during the opening session of the council held at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
According to the election results, Jamal Al-Shobaki was elected secretary of the Revolutionary Council after securing the highest number of votes among four candidates.
For the positions of deputy secretary, four members competed, with Aisha Al-Kurd and Anton Salman receiving the highest number of votes and winning the two posts.
Ali Abu Diak was elected as head of the Movement Court after obtaining the highest number of votes among two candidates.
Yasser Abu Bakr won the position of head of the Movement Oversight Authority, while Wafa Hab Al-Reeh was elected head of the Financial Oversight Authority, both after receiving the highest vote totals in their respective races.
The elections were held as part of the inaugural session of the newly elected Revolutionary Council following the Eighth General Conference of the Fatah movement.
