RAMALLAH, October 22, 2026 (WAFA) – The Central Committee of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) held a meeting on Thursday to discuss the latest political and national developments and the situation facing the Palestinian people amid mounting challenges and difficult circumstances.

The committee reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the struggle for freedom and independence, particularly amid escalating Israeli occupation violence against Palestinians, the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and increasing attacks by Israeli colonists in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

It also paid tribute to foreign solidarity activists who believe in the justness of the Palestinian cause and have stood alongside the Palestinian people in areas of confrontation.

The committee stressed the importance of continuing national dialogue and strengthening national unity to consolidate national efforts and resources in confronting current challenges, safeguard the Palestinian national project, and reinforce national partnership based on commitment to Palestinian national principles and the supreme interests of the Palestinian people.
