RAMALLAH, October 29, 2026 (WAFA) — Vice President of the State of Palestine Hussein al-Sheikh said Israel’s elections are an internal Israeli matter, expressing hope that a partner would emerge who believes in ending the occupation and achieving a just peace.
In a post on X, al-Sheikh stressed that the key to security, peace and stability in the region lies in implementing international legitimacy resolutions.
