RAMALLAH, April 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Loay Irziqat, Police Media Spokesperson, announced on Wednesday a detailed report on rocket fragments that fell within areas of police jurisdiction between February 28 and April 7, 2026, documented by the Police Central Operations Department, totaling 418 fragments.

Irziqat explained that police units dealt with 270 fragments, accounting for 56 percent of the total cases, despite field challenges related to the nature of some areas and complex coordination procedures.

He confirmed that these incidents resulted in the killing of five people and the wounding of 10 others, in addition to 59 cases of property damage, including 37 homes, ten vehicles, four institutions, and eight other properties.

He noted that the police continue their diligent efforts to follow up on these incidents and respond in a manner that ensures the protection of citizens and minimizes their impact as much as possible.
