RAMALLAH, September 28, 2026 (WAFA) – A report by Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) has noted a sharp increase in the Producer Price Index, during August, 08/2026.
The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 216.43 in August
PPI for locally consumed products during August 2026
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 227.04 in August 2026, which indicates a sharp increase of 14.60% compared to July 2026.
PPI for local exported products during August 2026
Producer Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 117.42 in August 2026, which indicates an increase of 1.37% compared to July 2026.
