RAMALLAH, December 28, 2025 (WAFA) – The number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of Israeli genocidal war in October 2023 has reached  71,266, the majority of whom are women and children, , with 171,222 others wounded.

According to medical sources, over the past 48 hours, hospitals in Gaza received the body of one victim recovered from the rubble and treated three injured people, with many victims still trapped under rubble, and emergency and rescue teams unable to reach them.

Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2025, a total of 414 fatalities and 1,145 injuries have been recorded, and  680 bodies have been recovered.

They also confirmed the death of a resident due to the collapse of a building, raising the number of fatalities caused by building collapses linked to the recent low-pressure weather system to 17.

Meanwhile, an infant reportedly died from severe cold. This brings the death toll from the cold weather and low-pressure system to three.
