HEBRON, November 3, 2026 (WAFA) — On Tuesday, colonists burned two vehicles, a house, and an agricultural structure, spray-painted racist slogans, detained schoolchildren, and vandalized a cave used as a residence in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.
Osama Makhamreh, an anti-settlement activist in the southern Hebron area, told WAFA that colonists burned two vehicles belonging to brothers Ali Mahmoud Khalil Abu Ali and Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Ali in the Wadi al-Rakhim area of Yatta.
They also set fire to an agricultural structure belonging to the Mur family, and torched a house under construction owned by a man named Ishaq Mur—destroying the contents inside—while spray-painting racist slogans on its walls.
He added that colonists, under the protection of occupation forces, blocked the path of students from Khirbet Asfi in Masafer Yatta, detaining them for about an hour as they were on their way to schools in Al-Majaz and Al-Fakhit.
Makhamreh further noted that colonists, dressed in military-style uniforms, raided the home of Yousef Makhamreh in the village of Al-Markaz in Masafer Yatta.
They vandalized surveillance cameras, punctured water tanks, and broke into a cave used by the resident as a dwelling, causing extensive damage to its contents.
