JORDAN VALLEY, November 3, 2026 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces issued a military order on Tuesday to seize approximately 9 dunums of privately-owned Palestinian land in Khirbet al-Hadidiya, in the Northern Jordan Valley, under the pretext of constructing a military road in the area.
Moataz Bisharat, the official in charge of the settlements file in the Tubas Governorate, stated that the targeted lands are located in Basin 228 (part of plot 6), Basin 230 (parts of plots 47, 49, and 50), and Basin 234 (parts of plots 5 and 9).
This move is part of the occupation’s policy aimed at expanding its control over the Northern Jordan Valley by seizing Palestinian land and constructing military roads. Such actions serve to isolate Palestinian communities, restrict the movement of residents, and impede their access to their own agricultural lands.
Earlier, in early November 2025, the occupation forces had issued a military order to seize hundreds of dunums of land in Khirbet al-Hadidiya. This was followed by land-clearing operations, after which settlers began establishing an illegal colonial outpost in the area. Khirbet al-Hadidiya and the broader Northern Jordan Valley region are frequently subjected to attacks, including the clearing and fencing of land, the harassment of herders, and the prevention of Palestinians from accessing their grazing lands and agricultural fields.
