RAMALLAH, November 2, 2026 (WAFA) — An 84-year-old man was injured on Monday after being beaten by terrorist colonists near the village of Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society stated in a brief release that its teams attended to the elderly man following the assault by colonists near the village, noting that he was being transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Amid an escalation in colonists' violence, the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported on Monday that colonists carried out 1,369 attacks against Palestinian citizens, their land, and their property during the month of October—an increase of 111.6% compared to September.
The Commission indicated that the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate recorded the highest number of colonists' attacks, with 393 incidents out of the 1,369 recorded across the West Bank last month. The total number of attacks carried out by both occupation forces and colonists in that governorate reached 704.
