NEGEV, November 2, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian citizen of Israel was killed on Monday evening and two others were injured in a shooting incident in the city of Rahat, located in the Negev region within the 1948 territories.
With this latest killing, the death toll from violent crime within Palestinian society inside the 1948 territories has risen to 176 since the beginning of this year. This figure includes both men and women, amid ongoing criticism of the Israeli police and government for their failure to curb the proliferation of firearms, combat organized crime, and hold perpetrators accountable.
